The gas station operator course requires no physical fitness — accuracy, attentiveness and customer-facing skills matter most. The program covers fuel receiving and record-keeping procedures, POS and payment-system operation, and fire and environmental safety requirements at a filling station.
A separate block covers handling non-standard situations — fuel spills, equipment malfunctions, and conflicts with customers. Trainees practice typical scenarios from a shift's opening to cash reconciliation.
After training, an exam is held, followed by a state-format certificate. The course is also available online, convenient for those combining study with another job.
